Logan is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Recreational opportunities abound with many canyons open to hiking, fishing, camping and biking.  Winter recreation abounds in Cache Valley. From a fresh powder day at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort to an adventurous snowmobile ride up one of the Valley's many canyons. Consider Ice fishing, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing-just a few of the opportunities in the valley this time of year.

Two large reservoirs in Hyrum and Newton offer water skiing and boating, and beautiful Bear Lake is just a 45-minute drive upLogan Canyon. Cooler summer weather, sailing, boating, water skiing, and golf make the lake a favorite getaway.

 Many climbers journey to Logan Canyon as one of the premiere rock climbing spots in Utah. With an elevation of 4,500+ feet, the canyon offers climbers a cool place to be in the hot summer. With cliffs primarily facing north and south, climbers can choose sun or shade. Mild weather, low humidity and little rain offer excellent climbing opportunities during spring, summer or fall.

 In Cache Valley, courses are often open year-round. You can ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon. Golf courses offer spectacular greens and challenging holes. The Logan River and Birch Creek Golf Courses rank in the top courses in the state and top 500 courses in the country.
