Campus Recreation manages several recreational facilities for the Innovation Campus Business Partners. This includes the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) building which has two swimming pools, three gymnasiums, six racquetball courts, dance studios, locker room facilities and more. This also includes the Nelson Fieldhouse which has a squash court, a 200-meter running track, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, a billiards room, a fitness center, locker facilities and more.
Innovation Campus employees who wish to use these facilities must present a current Innovation Campus Business Partner ID card and a picture ID to the HPER Service Desk to purchase monthly pass. The HPER Service Desk employee will sell monthly pass (currently $10.00 per month or $120.00 per year) to Innovation Campus employee that will allow access to facilities. Innovation Campus employees with a current recreation pass have unlimited access to both the HPER and Nelson Fieldhouse (subject to availability).
The third facility that the Campus Recreation department oversees is the Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC). The ORC rents outdoor equipment for reasonable prices. The ORC rents backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, kayak, canoes, skis, snowboards and much more. For a list of all of the equipment and the rental rates visit www.usu.edu/camprec.
